Customized Software Solutions: WindAcoustics Suite
We offer software solutions customized to the very needs of our clients within a wide range of applications. The framework for our applications is usually our WindAcoustics Suite (WaS), a modular software package with graphical user interface for Microsoft Windows.
Our portfolio ranges from the single-channel loudness prediction to the 120-channel recording and playback application with real-time signal-processing capabilities. While we primarily develop applications for Microsoft Windows, we also support other platforms, if desired. Our technical and scientific expertise covers especially the following areas (cf. our publications):
- Auditory-Adapted Audio-Signal Analysis (Weighting Procedures, Third-Octave Levels, Psychoacoustic Magnitudes as for example Loudness and Sharpness, Spectral Transforms)
- Virtual Acoustics (Binaural Synthesis, Wave-Field Synthesis)
- Room-Acoustic Measurements (Impulse Responses, Indicators)
- Measurement of Head-Related Transfer Functions (HRTFs)
- Electroacoustic Measurements (Transfer Functions, Directivities)
- Signal Processing for Hearing Aids (incl. Vocoder)
- Sound-Synthesis, especially for Measurements, Listening Experiments, and Audiology

Simple Integration in Your Processes
We either combine every specific application in close cooperation with the customer, or develop it from scratch, if necessary. Our most important goals thereby are the simple and reproducible usability as well as the long-term availability and expandability. Both factors ensure the straightforward and unproblematic integration in our customers' processes.
Service and Maintenance
Only continuous maintenance and service can ensure the long-term correct functionality of software tools, independent of operating-system updates and modifications of modules or interfaces. Combined with each of our products, we offer the corresponding software-maintenance contract, which ensures the long-term stability and reliability of the tools.
